SUNDAY, AUGUST 10 - Come join us as we travel to Southern California for some fun and excitement.  We will visit many exciting places and see the extraordinary Pageant of the Masters .  Our first stop will be at Harris Ranch for a hosted breakfast.  Our accommodations for the next three nights will be at the Country Inn by Ayers in Costa Mesa.  Upon arrival there will be a hosted Welcome Reception at our hotel.

MONDAY, AUGUST 11 - This morning will start with a Hosted breakfast at our hotel before we travel to the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Birthplace.  The Library features: 22 high-tech galleries, movie and interactive video theaters, the spectacular First Lady's Garden, the President's faithfully restored 1910's birthplace, and the flower-ringed memorial sites of President and Mrs. Nixon. This afternoon we will go to the Art-A-Fair Festival.  Many artists demonstrate and create their craft right in their booths!  A hosted dinner is included at Tivoli Too on the grounds of the Art Festival.  After dinner we will have time to walk across the street to the Festival of Arts and browse through the art exhibits.  We have reserved Main Tier seats at the PAGEANT OF THE MASTERS.  This two-hour evening presentation is staged in a dramatically beautiful outdoor amphitheater.  Great works of art are recreated with real people posing to look exactly like their counterparts in the original works of art.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 12 - We will start with a hosted breakfast at our hotel before departing for Escondido.  Today we visit the 1,800-acre San Diego Wild Animal Park.  This wildlife preserve allows you to view herds of exotic animals as they might be seen in the their native lands.  Tonight we have a hosted dinner at Buca di Beppo

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13 - We will enjoy a hosted breakfast at our hotel this morning.  Our first stop will be at the Crystal Cathedral for a guided tour.  This afternoon we travel to the Getty Center for a self-guided tour.  The Getty Center presents the Getty’s collection of Western art from the Middle Ages to the present against the backdrop of dramatic architecture, tranquil gardens and breathtaking views.   Our accommodations for the next two nights will be at the Double Tree Hotel in Claremont.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 14 -  This morning we start with a guided tour of the Nethercutt Collection.  The Nethercutt Collection is a world class treasure house of prize winning automobiles, automobilia, mechanical musical instruments and antique furniture.  The heart of this “functional fine art” collection contains over 200 meticulously restored American and European automobiles dating from 1898 to 1982.  This afternoon we will travel to the Autry National Center for a self-guided tour.  The cowboys of yesteryear finally get the recognition and appreciation they rightly deserve.  Be prepared to be surprised by the museum’s size and sophistication.  Tonight we will have a hosted dinner and see the performance of “Peter Pan” at the Candlelight Theater.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 15 - Our final day.  We will have a hosted lunch at Harris Ranch before arriving back in the Bay Area around 6 pm.

TOUR INCLUDES: 5 NIGHTS DELUXE LODGING, 8 MEALS, WELCOME RECEPTION, RICHARD NIXON PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY, SAN DIEGO WILD ANIMAL PARK,  RESERVED MAIN TIER SEATING AT THE PAGEANT OF THE MASTERS, GUIDED TOUR OF CRYSTAL CATHEDRAL, GETTY CENTER, GUIDED TOUR OF NETHERCUTT MUSEUM, AUTRY NATIONAL CENTER, PERFORMANCE OF PETER PAN, LUGGAGE HANDLING, MOTORCOACH TRANSPORTATION, TAXES AND GRATUITIES ON ALL HOSTED MEALS.

You may cancel up to June 13  with no penalty.  After June 13 there is no refund.  Trip cancellation insurance is available and highly recommended.  Premiums to cover your tour cost are $60.00 per person, dbl., $57.00 per person, tpl. occ. and $81.00 single.  If premium is paid with tour deposit the exclusion in the policy for pre-existing medical condition is  waived if you are not disabled from travel when you pay your premium.  Full coverage details will be sent to you upon receipt of payment.  Extended insurance to cover Accidental Death, Medical Expenses/Emergency Assistance, Trip Delay, Baggage and Baggage Delay may be purchased for and additional $25.00 per person and can be purchased with your final payment.  We are unable to make refunds on portions of unused tours such as meals, attractions and transportation or any other tour included items once the tour has commenced.  Reserved seating is assigned at time of deposit.  There is no smoking on the bus, however, frequent rest stops will be made en route.
